This paper is devoted to the study of the process of socio-cultural inclusion in one of the private educational projects of the Moscow region - “Migrant children”. As part of the research tactics of the case study, using the in-depth interview method, an attempt was made to reconstruct the structural and substantive aspects of the designated integration initiative in the assessments of teachers of the "donor" lyceum. We were interested in the answer to the question of how the interpretation of cultural differences by teachers affects their approach to the educational process, and how this interpretation affects the specifics of the process of socio-cultural inclusion in general. Based on the analysis of transcripts of the interviews, a model of socio-cultural inclusion was built, which corresponds to the nature of this process in the “Migrant children” project, outlined strategies for managing cultural diversity, determined the specificity of teachers understanding cultural differences, their motivation to participate in the project, outlined the direction and the nature of intercultural interaction at the level of the entire lyceum. This work is a reconnaissance initiative, its results are planned to be expanded with subsequent studies of similar projects in other cities of Russia. The key concepts of this work, its theoretical framework, are selected in the paradigm of social constructivist and critical approaches to ethnicity and culture.
