Improving Transport Activities by the Example of the Trading Company

According to various estimates, the transport component in the cost of goods can be from 20 to 40% (Sergeev, 2013). Organization and management of transportation in the company is one of the key responsibilities of the logistics Department or other Department responsible for transportation. Currently, there are many ways to improve the transport activities of the company. This suggests that the specialists responsible for transportation should systematically analyze the existing transportation system and take measures to improve it. The object of this study is the transport activity of the company "PUMA RUS". The subject of the study is the improvement of transport activities of the company on the segment of transportation of finished products from factories to its own warehouse and key customers. The purpose of this study is to develop proposals for improving the transport activities of the company "PUMA RUS".
