Brief history: from the big bang to the artificial intelligence. Scientific, technical and information revolution. In our work we decided to focus on the most saturated and concentrated period of history from our point of view. We were interested in the era of scientific, technical and informational revolution, when science and then “information” (in a broad sense) became the key factors of not only production and progress but also of human creativity and innovation in general. In our study we also included some “preface” - the events that preceded the scientific and technological revolution (the late XIX and first half of the XX centuries) but at the same time played a key role in shaping a post-industrial society. In our opinion, this study is extremely relevant. In the era of "artificial intelligence" and "big data" it was important and interesting to do this kind of work: to create an organized collection of visual materials representing the latest history of scientific and technological progress. Working with visual content was not easy. The 20th century and our time are characterized by a high concentration, diversity and abundance of information, including visual information. At the first stage it was important to develop a competent, correct and adequate work structure. Further, was needed a careful and “creative” selection of materials, which had to be coordinated in this case with the original concept and organization of the content. Special attention and approach required work with a huge amount of photographic materials. As a result of the work, we were able to form a comprehensive visual study that vividly illustrates the rapid progress of progress in the 20th and 21st centuries.
