IT-Projects Portfolio Management Models in Cosmetics Retailer Company

Objective: exploration of the existing models of IT-project portfolio management in the company-retailer of cosmetics, and formulation of recommendations for their improvement, which will help to resolve resource conflicts, to take into account the seasonality in the formation of the portfolios and to increase the overall competitiveness of the company in the market. The theoretical Chapter is devoted to the review of such concepts as the success of the IT-project, the success of the IT-project portfolio and the quality of the IT-project product, in their modern sense. In the second Chapter of the work, a practical study was conducted, which analyzed the existing models of IT-project portfolio management in the company and identified the main factors affecting the quality of project products in the portfolio. The main results of the study are as follows: • Found 2 models of it project portfolio management, which formed independently in the same environment; • Discovered the influence of the quality of resource planning for the quality of the products of IT-projects in the portfolios; • Factors affecting the quality of IT-project products in the portfolio are identified and classified. In the third Chapter, based on the results of the analysis of theoretical materials and the results of the study, recommendations for improving the existing models of IT-project portfolio management in the company were developed.
