This research deals with how the practice of the whistleblowing and the figure of Snowden were framed in a film titled Citizenfour, and a film called Snowden. In addition, this research also involves public opinion, to see how the public responds to Ed Snowden's figure and the practice of whistleblowing. Both of those movies were analyzed using framing from the Pan and Kosicki models because they were considered the most suitable for seeing the reality of the film. In the study, it was found that the practice of whistleblowing was framed as an action that could be done by anyone who saw the existence of fraud and Snowden as a whistleblower was described as a fragile figure and always needed help from other parties. What's interesting is that many of the public thought that Ed Snowden was a hero and the practice of whistleblowing that he did was considered a heroic act. In addition, there are also several other research results.
