In today's logistics world, the level of service directly affects how successful the activity of a company in its segment, its potential logistics costs and, as a result, its profitability and reputation in the market, determining not only the attitude of existing customers and partners, but also a certain percentage of potential customers who will use the services of a company in a competitive environment. The aim of the work is to study the existing definitions of logistics service, to systematize and find the most optimal unit of measurement, to understand and explain the reason why it is necessary to improve the logistics service of the distribution company, to understand the reasons for the decline in the level of service in relation to the customers of the distributor, to develop a scheme for monitoring and solving problems of the level of logistics service
