Warehouse is an extremely important element in the logistics system of any company. It is able to perform a huge number of different functions and operations that would not be feasible without him. Almost always, the activities of the company is impossible without the storage function, and therefore without a warehouse. Today, a warehouse is not only a warehouse, but also a complex system, a place for the transformation of material flows. Warehouse - a place in which the transformation occurs (reception, storage, accumulation, processing and distribution) of material flows. Depending on the situation, it can be considered as an independent physical object (structure), or as an element of the logistic system (subsystem). In this paper, we tried to consider all the existing theoretical aspects of warehouse logistics: the definition of the term warehouse, warehousing, the study of existing classifications and approaches to optimizing warehousing in the enterprise. The study described several methods to reduce costs and increase the speed of movement of goods through the system. At the end, we conducted theoretical studies on the evaluation and finding the effectiveness of all the decisions we made earlier. This allowed the most structurally and consistently approach to the solution of the task we set. The events announced by us were performed by the selected company. Therefore, we consider our work successful and very important. Keywords: logistics, warehousing, warehousing, warehouse network, warehouse management system, improvement, optimization
