Patterns of Relationship in the Actor-Director Dyad

"Types of relations in the actor-director's dyad." Aim of the work is to study the types of relationships in the actor-producer dyad, to identify the circumstances in which the actor will feel anxiety, constant negative changes of the life quality from actor perspective, and feel the need for psychological support. Objectives (using differential diagnostics): to determine people with mental state and character that will most likely have a need in acting profession; to determine the frequency of “actor-director” dyads, where actors and a director interact negatively , from perspective of their mental health from; to determine the structure of the “actor-director” dyad, where mental state of each will be most secured; to determine the principles of joyful work between the actor and director. -to develop a scheme of research, where an idea of the personal essence of each respondent will be presented, allows to draw conclusions about the quality of the interaction between the director and the actor as dyad; - Upon the manner, define how unconscious conflicts, including developmental conflicts, affect the creation of a constructive / destructive dyad; -to analyze the role of the influence of interpersonal conflict in the actor-director dyad. The object of this study is the actor-director dyad, the subject is the structure of personal mental state in actor-director dyad. Methods: "Biographical interview" T. Andreeva, author's questionnaire on the subject of the specifics of acting and directing work, Thematic apperception test (TAT) and semantic analysis of the respondents' speech, which allows to identify the most frequent words and compile the semantic core of the interview. The study involved 5 acting and directing groups. Each consists of the director and 4-6 actors (31in total). Respondents are men (15) and women (16) from 26 to 62 years old.
