Development of Requirements for an Information System for the Automation of Working with Clients Business Process in an Industrial Company

The paper describes a research that is devoted to developing requirements for an information system. The general purpose of the study is to work out the requirements for the information system which automates the process of working with clients while considering specific needs of a production company «X». In order to achieve this goal, the following issues are solved: - Firstly, the main activity of the industrial firm is analyzed. - Secondly, working with clients process is formalized and analyzed in detail. - Thirdly, requirements for the information system are developed. - Finally, the possibility of their realization in a chosen system is examined. As a result, the paper reports the analyze of the overall performance of the industrial company and customer relationship business process. Moreover, information system’s requirements for an automation of working with clients process are developed. Finally, the study examines a possible realization of the developed requirements for Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
