In this day and age, all spheres of society are undergoing various changes due to the active development of information technologies and the process of globalization. These changes affected the education system as well. At the same time, modern teachers are trying to apply new approaches and technologies of teaching in order to involve the students in the educational process and encourage them to work individually. One of these approaches is blended learning which involves the mixture of a traditional classroom system and individual work using the possibilities of modern digital education. Despite its growing popularity, this technology is not fully covered in scientific literature. Therefore, many teachers still face problems with the development of tasks for their lessons with the help of blended learning. This paper considers features and possibilities of application of blended learning techniques at the level of high school education. With this in mind, we tried to design a series of exercises for English lessons in the 10th grade. As a basis for the development of tasks textbook «Spotlight» was chosen. As a result, research methods are the analysis and synthesis of literature on the topic. Thus, it can be assumed that the theoretical significance of our study will be to provide a complete description of blended learning and its techniques. It will help teachers significantly reduce the time spent in searching for detailed information about this educational approach. The practical value of our work is to develop a series of exercises for English lessons according to the methodology of blended learning. This work will be able to improve the awareness of teachers about this educational approach and remove the difficulties in its application in practice.
