The Analysis of Results of Activity of the Enterprise of Retail Trade on the Basis of BI Technologies

The Final Master’s Qualification Work (FMQW) is devoted to development of information and analytical model of support of decision-making in the field of increase in reliability of a commodity stock with use of the BI platform in the Leroy Merlin company. The main trends of the world and Russian markets of retail trade are revealed and also influence of IT technologies on business processes in the companies of this industry is defined. The research of the main methods and tools of the business analysis in retail, including XYZ, ABC, RFM and SWOT analysis is conducted. The analysis of the leading suppliers of BI systems in the global and domestic markets is carried out, requirements to BI solutions for the FMCG companies are formulated. Modeling and the analysis of management of commodity stocks of the company of retail trade on the example of process of increase in reliability of a commodity stock is carried out to Leroy Merlin. Requirements to information and analytical model of support of decision-making in the field of increase in reliability of a commodity stock in the Leroy Merlin company on the basis of the BI platform are created. The model is developed and realized with use of the Tableau BI platform and underwent successful approbation in the studied company. The received results and assessment of business effects of introduction of model are also given in work. The Final Master’s Qualifying Work consist of 58 pages, contains 14 figures, 9 tables and a bibliography of 40 titles.
