A Statistical Study of the Status and Development of Housing and Communal Services in Russia and Its Regions

Housing and communal services occupy an important place in the economy, and the state and development of this industry affects the quality of life of all citizens. The relevance of the chosen topic is related to the modernization of housing and communal infrastructure in the framework of the "Strategy of development of housing and communal services in Russia". Despite the improvement in the housing sector, the sphere requires improvement. In this work the existing problems in the sphere of housing and communal services were considered, the foreign and domestic experience of modernization of the sphere of housing and communal services was considered, the state of the sphere of housing and communal services was made grouping of regions on the level of the state of housing and communal infrastructure, regression models of interrelation of volume of investments in fixed capital of the enterprises of housing and various interconnected indicators were constructed. The work consists of an introduction, three chapters, conclusion, list of references and appendices. The analysis allowed to identify the main trends of the housing and communal services market in Russia, to consider the factors that have a direct impact on it, as well as to identify the presence of a number of laws depending on the volume of investments in the housing sector from the integrated indicators of the industry in the studied subjects. The results of the study are of high practical importance and allow to explain the impact of the state of housing and communal Fund, the solvency of the population and the provision of social housing on the volume of investment in housing and communal services, and hence on the development of the industry as a whole.
