The factors that accompany the development of the economy in our country and in the world, the key of which are the need to make decisions in the face of uncertainty and the extreme speed of change, require considerable effort by the leaders and owners of companies to find solutions that will maintain their market position, maintain existing and attract potential customers, which should result in increased profits. But in order to make the right decisions, it is necessary first of all to determine the goals that this or that organization wants to achieve. It is a high-quality and balanced goal-setting that should set the vector for the development of all the activities of the company, which can ultimately lead to success. Moreover, this vector should be reflected in all aspects of the economic activity of the company. Top managers often underestimate the importance of strategic management and believe that the choice of strategies, their formalization, communication to employees and monitoring of implementation is a waste of time and the key to success is building business operations. But such an approach in the realities of the modern economy often turns into failure, even if employees do everything right. After all, even if you do the wrong thing correctly, the result will often be unsatisfactory. The purpose of the strategies is precisely in determining the goals that must be realized at the tactical and operational level.
