Legal Grounds for Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgements in Russia on Civil Matters

The final qualification paper examines the legal grounds for recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments on civil matters in the Russian Federation. Such grounds as an international Treaty and the principle of reciprocity are consistently considered. The author examines the main problems associated with the use of these grounds and suggests effective ways to resolve them.
