Sport belongs to one of the leading positions in our ordinary life: it is the emotional episodes of the competition and the unresolved result of the match, as well as the technique and assertiveness of athletes and all other persons. Moreover, and this is of paramount importance, competition represents an enormous and inexhaustible supply of energy for the development of society. Fair play, aka "fair play", is one of the leading principles of sports competitions. Despite this, the ethics of sport and the honesty of athletes, coaches, referees and other persons are under constant pressure, which is also manifested through attempts to organize the so-called contract matches. The level of this danger is steadily increasing, which is facilitated by the presence of a number of circumstances, such as: the desire to earn money in an illegal way, the lack of strong administrative levers in this area, wide opportunities for accepting bets on sports competitions around the world, which can be used by almost anyone, underestimating the danger of contract matches by public authorities designed to combat crime, as well as turning the sport into a platform to achieve certain personal or group of people. The illegal influence on the result of sports competition in many states of the world, on the one hand, is recognized as an act prohibited by criminal law, on the other hand, is a violation of internal regulations and other norms, local acts of sports federations, organizations, leagues, which entails the application of sports and disciplinary penalties. It is also worth noting that there is broad support at present for the position that the illegal influence on the outcome of sports competitions is one of the fundamental and spreading with great speed specific manifestations of corruption, which covers components of both domestic and international organized crime. In view of the above, the specificity and coordination of the struggle of all bodies, organizations and persons working in this field is vital for the achievement of the set objectives for the subjects of sports, a prerequisite for ensuring social harmony, stable and sustainable development of sports institutions, which, inter alia, ensure economic prosperity.
