This work examines the sovereignty over natural resources and the principle of non-pollution of the environment outside the state's jurisdiction based on the case of the PRC. These principles are analyzed in conjunction with the economic development of countries, the approach to their stable development in a highly globalized world. There is also analysed the historical development of these two principles and the approaches of different scientists to them.
