Vectors of Development of the EU Foreign Energy Policy in the Context of the Implementation of the Energy Union

The purpose of the study is to reveal how the EU's foreign energy policy is being formed in the context of creating an Energy Union and using it as a tool for "soft power with hard edge". For this purpose, the paper considers two cases of practical application of "export acquis" to third countries, as well as the use of internal market rules as a "soft power with hard edge" of the EU in its foreign policy to ensure its own energy security.
