The Problem of Border Settlement in the Context of the Modern Stage of Relations between the Two Countries: India and China

The topic of the study: The Problem of Border Settlement in the Context of the Modern Stage of Relations between the Two Countries: India and China. Work includes: 92 pages, 3 drawings; used sources - 91. Keywords: China, India, Indo-Chinese relations, border conflict, interests, contradictions. Object of study - Sino-Indian relations The subject of the study is the rivalry trends and border issues of the settlement between India and China. The purpose of the study is to identify the problems of resolving border conflicts between India and China. The structure of the final qualification work consists of three chapters: The first chapter discusses the formation of Sino-Indian relations after the independence of India (1947) and the declaration of the PRC (1949), focuses on the emergence of a border conflict between the two countries, as well as its chronology from “cartographic aggression” to an armed conflict on the border. The second chapter is devoted to the territorial issue as a factor in the destabilization of Indian-Chinese relations; special attention is paid to the key positions of countries in relation to each other. An important role is given to the relations of India and China with the great powers - with the USA and Russia. The influence of the factor of Pakistan on the relations between the two countries is analyzed. In the third chapter, the process of normalizing relations between China and India is studied in detail, we are talking about the political and economic positions of countries, as well as about their activities in international organizations and associations. The theoretical and methodological basis of the study is based on, not only the totality of scientific and applied works, in print and electronic forms, devoted to the study of the border problems of India and China. In the process of performing the work, various methods of historical research were used, namely, historical-genetic and historical-typological methods. As well as in the process of performing this work, such general scientific methods as description, analysis and synthesis, analogy method, logical and system approaches were used. The theoretical and practical significance of the work lies in the fact that the results of the study can be useful to a wide range of people, and can serve as the basis for further expanded study of the problem under consideration.
