Since the end of the 20th century Russian-Chinese relations have become increasingly important and encompassing, which also has affected educational policy of both countries. Availability and quality of Russian education have played a significant role in establishing strong cultural ties between the two states, which manifests as an important factor for the prospects in development of the Russia-China relations. However, it is also suggested that Russia-China relations demonstarte the scope of problems that might undermine relations between countries in socio-cultural sphere (Larin, Kalmykov) and Russia might not be ready to accept Chinese students (Zhang, Qin). Nevertheless, little studies are fully dedicated to prospects of studying in Russian for Chinese young people and their opinions on real educational situation in Russia. This work is aimed to address the research gap and describe the key points of possible improvements in Russian-Chinese cooperation in education. We will perform primary and secondary data collection and use qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the paper may reveal the importance of state regulation and control over the improvement of conditions for foreign students in general and become a theoretical base for further research. Keywords: education, Russia-China relations, China, Russia, cooperation, culture, sociology.
