Topic: "Peculiarities of transformation of the world picture of Spanish society under the influence of linguistic and cultural interactions". Keywords: world picture; Spanish society; linguistic and cultural interactions; political correctness; mass media. The object of the research is the language picture of the world of Spanish society. The subject is changes in the Spanish worldview that have occurred as a result of the spread of the phenomenon of political correctness. The purpose of the research is to analyze the features of transformation of the world picture of Spanish society under the influence of linguistic and cultural interactions. The thesis includes an introduction, two chapters, two conclusions on the written chapters, the final conclusion, a list of references and Appendix No. 1. In order to achieve the desired result, the following tasks were set: - to study different approaches to the study of the language picture of the world; - consider the possible effects of language contacts on the language; - to characterize the phenomenon of political correctness and politically correct vocabulary; - analyze the reflection of ideas of political correctness on the lexical and grammatical level of modern Spanish; - analyze the reflection of ideas of political correctness in the Spanish press. During this research, such methods as the continuous sampling method, the text analysis method, the descriptive method, interpretation, and systematization were used. The introduction reveals the relevance of the research in the chosen direction, sets the problem, goal and objectives of the research, defines the object, subject of scientific research, formulates a hypothesis, sets the goal and objectives, indicates the methodological basis of the research, its theoretical and practical significance. In the first Chapter, a theoretical justification of differences in the world pictures of different Nations is proposed, the features of language contacts are revealed, and scientific approaches to the phenomenon of political correctness in the modern world are formulated. The conclusion of the first Chapter summarizes the results of the analyzed material. In Chapter two, lexical and grammatical changes in the modern Spanish language are clearly shown, as well as how the transformation of the world picture of Spanish society in the media is reflected, The conclusion of the second Chapter describes the significance of the results obtained. The conclusion is devoted to the main conclusions, the role of political correctness in the Spanish media, and the impact of globalization on linguistic and cultural interactions.
