Types Athletes’ (Coaches’, Referees’) Rest Time

The relevance of scientific work is that such sports subjects as athletes, coaches and sports judges do not correlate their rest time in everyday life and rest time in the labor law aspect, so this problem was considered in our work. The purpose of the research is to analyze the legislation regulating the rest time of athletes, coaches and sports referees. Research objectives: 1. to study the history of the development of the Institute of leisure time in Russia; 2. study the legislation specifying the application of certain types of rest time to certain categories of employees; 3. evaluate the legality of including a sports regime in the clause of the employment contract with an athlete with the right to rest; 4. consider the features of applying types of rest time to coaches; 5. analyze the status of a sports judge as a party to an employment contract; 6. conduct an analysis of judicial practice concerning violations of rest time for athletes, coaches, and judges. The study analyzed many normative legal acts (Federal laws, presidential decrees, Government Resolutions, acts of Ministries, local acts of sports organizations), including those that have lost their force. The analysis of judicial practice is carried out. Scientific articles, educational literature and Internet resources were used. As a result of research work: A) assess the impact of training on personal time athlete, the results of which we came to the conclusion that sport mode is legitimate applies, and the relaxation time of the athlete due to the nature of his post; B) features of application of types of rest time to the trainer, including to trainers-teachers on whom the additional professional standard for pedagogical workers extends are considered; C) the status of a sports judge as a party to an employment contract is analyzed
