Analysis of the Impact of Corporate Governance Quality on the Formation of the Company's Value

Nowadays, the financial markets show increased attention of shareholders to non-financial factors that create the company's value. One of the key factors is corporate governance. This paper focuses on the role of corporate governance quality in the formation of the company's value. The study advances our understanding of the features of the concept of corporate governance, moreover, it examines its international principles and explains the theoretical basis of its impact on the company's value. This paper provides statistical observations and empirically confirms the existence of a relationship between the quality of corporate governance and the company's capitalization. The main contribution of the study is a compilation of a mathematical model for assessing the effect of corporate governance based on existing theoretical studies.
