The general purpose of this project is to examine the relationship between remote work format and the subjective well-being, which will provide new insights at the motivation of remote employees and subsequently develop new tools to prevent professional burnout among remote specialists. The principal aim of the study is to determine the predictors of subjective well-being and work satisfaction in remote employees who usually work in the conditions of the absence of a specific workplace in the office and in the lack of external control. The compiled questionnaire includes methods related to independent variables – optimal time use, work-life balance, motivation and others, and includes some techniques to measure a dependent variable – subjective well-being (work satisfaction) and work engagement. The sample consisted of 214 respondents aged from 19 to 51 years (M = 27.7, SD = 6.58), of which 105 men, 109 women with experience in remote work. Data collection was carried out using an online survey, including a number of psychological methods. Multiple linear regression was used as the main analysis method. As a result of the study, no significant relationships were found between the remote work format and subjective well-being. The findings should make an important contribution to the field of positive and organizational psychology. The results will provide new insights at the motivation of remote workers and subsequently develop new tools for the prevention of professional burnout.
