The emerging conditions of the coronavirus pandemic stimulated an increase in the number of virtual teams in both small and large global companies, due to the mandatory organization of remote work. Company X, like many others in the current circumstances, was faced with the need to transfer teams to a virtual interaction environment. Further, based on the compiled profiles, a roadmap was developed for transferring company teams to the virtual environment. The map included individual features for each team and consisted of five stages: informing, technical relocation, implementation and adaptation, process evaluation, adaptation and maintenance. The roadmap was developed as flexible and adaptable to the circumstances and the course of the translation process in each team. The final stage of the work done was to evaluate the results, the dynamics of the internal team interaction and effectiveness. As a result, the target metrics of team effectiveness set by company X were achieved by the time the transfer was completed, the management team was pleased with the result of the work done.
