Key words: logistics, transport logistics, urban passenger transport, interchange hub, simulation, AnyLogic. Transport hubs are transfer zone, where passengers change one vehicle to another. Additionally, hubs serve passengers as the objects of social and trade infrastructure. The main aim of the study is the simulation of the interchange hub on the basis of the subway station. As part of the final qualification work, the first chapter examined the main development trends of the transport infrastructure of St. Petersburg and analyzed the weaknesses of the system. In addition, the «gray zone» of the city and the General Plan for the development of the underground space of 1976 were considered. In the second chapter, the concepts of a transport hub are introduced and a classification of their types is given. Justification is given for the relevance of hub modeling and a specific object for research has been selected. The third chapter provides a definition of system modeling and discusses various approaches to it. Particular attention is paid to simulation mathematical modeling, suitable for creating a model of a transportation hub. Descriptions of the basic laws of distribution are also given, from which uniform and triangular ones were chosen for the model. The final chapter discusses the mathematical model of the «black box». The second and third parts of the fourth chapter show the visual and process component of the model. After a detailed description of the libraries and enumeration of the graphic part of the model, the simulation results are presented. As a result of two experiments, the indicators of the transfer hub at the peak and with a modernized station design were demonstrated and analyzed. In conclusion, all the planned goals and objectives of the final qualification work were achieved.
