Neural Networks Applied for the Research of Social Network Profile Based on Image Analysis

This research is focused on social network profile analyzing using a method of machine learning — artificial neural network. In this paper, detection of objects in images is performed in order to determine a person’s hobbies and, accordingly, some character traits. Therefore, the expected result of this research is the characteristic of a person’s account based on photos in his profile using the VKontakte social network as an example. The paper consists of three chapters. In the first Chapter images in social networks as a subject of analysis are described. The second Chapter discusses the comparison of different methods for detecting objects in images and the practical solution of the tasks. The third Chapter is focused on the results of describing a person's profile in the Vkontakte social network.
