In this work, we tried to use GAN's to improve the graphics in old video games to a model of its more modern version. As an old game, I took The Witcher 1 (2007) and its more modern version of The Witcher 3 (2015). We used different GAN's architectures: DiscoGan, CoGAN, CycleGAN and U-GAT-IT. We will also try to develop our own architecture, which will solve the task better than current solutions. The following assessment methods were used to control the quality of the obtained images: Inception score, Frechet-Inception distance and Kernel-Inception distance. To train GAN's, we used our dataset, which consists of 100k images of The Witcher 1 and about 500k images of The Witcher 3.
