Tarkovsky`s films and to connect each movie to the certain type of sreen version. The special attention is paid to the problem of fidelity, the simularities and differences of literature and cinema. Also some classifications of adaptation are considered for the analysis. Conclusion contains the ideas about independence of screen version, about necessity to use peculiar cinema-methods adaptating the original source to the screen, and the existing classifications` incapability to embrace all the types of relatioships between literature and cinema in adaptations.
