Behavioural Strategies of Moscow Residents in relation to Organized Begging

Current paper is dedicated to such social phenomenon as of organized begging. The main purpose of this work is to identify key behavioral strategies in relation to organized begging and the factors affecting them among modern Muscovites. The subject of our interest is factors that influence behavioral strategies among modern Muscovites in relation to organized begging. The current study originally involved 2 stages: observation and survey, but due to restrictive measures related to the spread of coronavirus infection, it was decided to emphasize the online phase of the study. This aim of this stage is to identify the main types of beggars, the interaction with them, the determinants of begging and disobedience, as well as the factors affecting the communication component of the interaction of beggars and beggars. At this stage, the task is to understand strategies of behavior with beggars, as well as to understand what factors influence the act of giving. The sample at this stage consists of 365 respondents, 61% of those who alm and 39% of those who avoid this type of action. The sample will be randomly calculated with a 95% level of confidence. It can be assumed that behavioral strategies and the factors affecting them can be described as follows: 1) The most common types of beggars with whom Muscovites come into contact are homeless people, women gathering for treatment of a child and people with mental disabilities, while the less popular types of beggars are men or couples gathering for treatment of a child, and people without external signs of poverty gathering for food for a child. 2) Behavioural strategies of Muscovites are expressed in regular giving of Muscovites, giving of trifles and frequent cases of spontaneous giving 3) Religious, magical, superstitious, traditional, psychological, social-traditional, and status are the main determinants of giving/non giving. In this case, they are equally manifested in both behavioral strategies (alms/discipleship). 4) The main differences in the determinants of alms will be revealed in the sections on the amount of alms as well as the randomness of spontaneous alms. 5) The main reason for non-republication is the lack of trust in organized beggars. 6) Communication with beggars will be influenced by the presence of the beggars' requisites as well as the set of socio-demographic characteristics of the applicant
