The project is devoted to the theme "Features of professional self-determination of an adolescent in a situation of incomplete separation" and is relevant to the modern world. The practical value of the work focuses on the importance of incomplete separation in the professional choice of an adolescent and thus contributes to the development of methods of professional testing of high school students. The process of vocational guidance of an adolescent investigates the conflict of not passed / not completed separation with parental figures. The study of the relationship between incomplete separation with parental figures and the professional choice of an adolescent will allow solving problems in the unconscious self-identification of the analysis with one of the parental figures, as well as in the unconscious acceptance by the analysis of projections of parental unconscious conflicts affecting the choice of profession. Assuming that an adolescent in a state of incomplete separation makes a professional choice depending on parental vision and wishes regarding this choice, theoretical and practical tasks are set, such as: a) analysis of teenage features and conflicts; b) analysis of the concept of "separation" in various psychoanalytic schools; c) description of approaches to vocational guidance of the adolescents; d) description of the work and methods of this research; e) diagnostics and analysis of the results of personal features of the adolescents; f) helping an adolescent get closer to understanding his professional choices.. As a result of the research, results of practical significance of this work were obtained. The results showed that in vocational guidance of the adolescents in the paradigm of psychoanalysis, converge several actual problems, such as: a) difficulties in choosing a profession among young people in Russia, a large number of unemployed people, those who are undecided about their career and those who are dissatisfied with their chosen profession; b) the influence of parents on their choice as one of the identified problems of choosing a profession "not at the call of the heart", getting an education that later can not be applied, a sharp change of career path with the loss of time, rejection of the idea of work in principle; c) career counseling exclusively on rational grounds - benefit, benefit and even adherence to aptitudes - does not give sustainable long-term results in the choice of professional field, accordingly, comes the realization of the need to turn to the analysis of the unconscious sphere and work with it in the course of professional self-determination.
