The MA thesis studies the following question: "What elements are included in psychological content of men's fidelity mindset in close relationships?". The author has tried to answer this question by using several theoretical and empirical research tools. With the help of etymological and historical analysis of various informational resources - entries, philosophical papers, folklore art samples - fidelity specificity was identified as a phenomenon. It was investigated that fidelity is predominantly considered in society as a socio-cultural construction and it was concluded that in research discourse there is a deficit of empirically based information about psychological fidelity content as a personal characteristic. The author claimed that fidelity as a psychological phenomenon can be considered as a mindset, consequently during the theoretical work of the research were studied two psychological mindset theories - Uznadze D. and Langle A. Application of semi-structured interview method with subsequent material processing in terms of phenomenological descriptive analysis of Giorgi A. let the author come to several important conclusions concerning psychological content of men's fidelity mindset in close relationships. It is definitely that fidelity can actually be considered as a mindset because it was indicated by demonstration of "internal restraints" phenomenon. In addition to that, it was discovered that men's fidelity mindset can be either limited or unlimited, this factor influences men's self-perception in relationships with constant female partner or other female representatives. The most significant outcome of the thesis is the identification of 28 elements concerning psychological content of men's fidelity mindset in close relationships, which were divided into 5 groups.
