Annotation The purpose of this research is a theoretical justification and experimental study of the mental deformations characteristics of individuals whose work is associated with the risk of life and their psychological readiness for professional activity. A hypothesis of the research is the relationship of the mental preparedness of individuals whose responsibilities are associated with the risk of life, their professional duties quality and psychoanalytic aspects of professional deformation. For this research the following tasks were identified and performed: The theory and practice of an analyst’s conscious and unconscious work are disclosed; Theoretical analysis of clinical disorders is made; The algorithm for predicting and diagnosing psychological trauma of individuals whose responsibilities are associated with the risk of life is described; The characteristic of psychodynamic diagnosis is given as the basis for successful psychotherapy; The conceptual and methodological foundations of psychological readiness for the professional activity of individuals whose work is associated with the risk of life are considered; The psychotechnical means of developing readiness for the professional activity of individuals whose duties are associated with the risk of life are determined; The content of the program of readiness for professional activity of individuals whose responsibilities are associated with the risk of life is disclosed; The analysis of the development program effectiveness is made. After an empirical study, three levels of psychological readiness of individuals whose work is associated with the risk of life in professional activity were identified: low (adaptive), medium (reproductive-active) and high (professional). The empirical study showed that almost half of the military men have the medium level of readiness for professional activity, more than a third of them have low one. At the same time the development of reflective-control and emotional-volitional readiness is on a low level. As a result of the implementation of the program for the development of psychological readiness of individuals whose work is associated with the risk of life, significant positive changes were recorded in professional activities, these changes are connected with the basic characteristics of psychological readiness. After the end of the experiment series of control measurements were implemented, they prove effectiveness of the developmental program. Further research prospects are in theoretical and empirical studies of the stylistic characteristics of the professional activities of individuals whose work is associated with the risk of life and in the creation of psychological and pedagogical conditions for the formation of an effective individual style of professional activity.
