Improvement of Planning System Using the Concept of CPFR

CPFR is a kind of connecting link between the two companies; it is a key factor in gaining a competitive advantage by increasing the accuracy of forecasting, coordination of supply and demand operations and timely satisfaction of consumer demand. The object of this study is the production company LLC Nestle, one of the largest global and Russian players in the FMCG market. The subject of the research is the planning function at Nestle. The aim of the final qualification work was to improve the planning system of the company Nestle LLC using the CPFR concept. To achieve this goal, we analyzed the features of the economic, financial and logistics activities of Nestle LLC and its position in the FMCG market; describes approaches to improving the quality of planning in the supply chain, examines the concept of CPFR as a tool for integrating and coordinating counterparties in the supply chain, develops approaches to implement the CPFR process and its implementation through SAP, and develops an effective inventory and service management model. As a result of the work, a number of measures were proposed for the implementation and application of CPFR technology in Nestle, and the economic efficiency from the implementation of the proposed solutions was calculated. The scientific novelty of the study is to explore the possibility of integrating the technology of joint planning, forecasting and replenishment with SAP ERP system. The practical value of the work is to consider the possibility of increasing the efficiency of the supply chain of a manufacturing enterprise in the Russian FMCG market by introducing CPFR technology
