In this paper, I investigate the influence of “entitlement effect” on responder’s reception of the changes in proposer’s behavior. According to the modern economic theory, “entitlement effect” has a significant impact on proposer’s behavior. The following paper aims to analyze responder’s reaction on deviations caused by entitlement heterogeneity. The research methodology is based on analyzing and comparing such parameters as rejection rate, minimum acceptable offer and reported players’ expectations. General knowledge test, labor-intensive task and lottery allocations are used to create variations in disposable income. This paper studies only one-shot games.
