Faculty: Faculty of Creative Industries

Educational Programme: Fashion (Master)

Final Grade: 9

Year of Graduation: 2020

Fashion, as a whole, could be described as a feeling, perception of oneself. Anything could be fashion, as long as it allows oneself to fantasize about what one could be, what could be broadcast, which masks could be tried on. Thus, the focus of Delete Magazine is suspension and obscuration of distinctive individualistic characteristics - namely, external appearances; instead, the emphasis is upon the amorphous 'feeling' of fashion itself, and what it could be. Hence, the goal is to allow the audiences a feeling of absolute freedom in projecting oneself onto the imagery seen or perceived in the magazine. Major focus on senses, immersion and involvement in the fantasy: tactile and visual perception of the magazine, achieved through the usage of various textures and unconventional approaches. The feeling of complete absorption into the experience, the sense of illusionary, transcendence.
