Constitutional and Legal Status of the President of the Russian Federation

This work was carried out in order to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the content of the constitutional and legal status of the President of the Russian Federation and the institution of the presidency, analyze the constitutional and legal aspects of the emergence and development of the institution, its relationship with other authorities and analyze its subsidiary bodies, identify problems and gaps in legal regulation constitutional and legal status of the President of the Russian Federation. This goal determined the following tasks: 1. To study the prerequisites for the formation of the institution of the presidency and highlight the main goals of its creation; 2. Analyze the structure of the constitutional and legal status of the President of the Russian Federation; 3. Analyze the procedure for the election and inauguration of the President of the Russian Federation; 4. Analyze the powers of the President of the Russian Federation and highlight the problems of their legal regulation; 5. Analyze the removal from office and immunity of the President of the Russian Federation, guarantees to the former President of the Russian Federation; 6. Analyze the legal status and powers of the institution of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation; 7. Analyze the legal status and powers of the Institute of Soviets under the President of the Russian Federation; 8. Analyze the legal status and powers of the institution of Commissions under the President of the Russian Federation The author comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to legally secure the constitutional and legal status of the President of the Russian Federation, unlimited presidential power, the existence of a super-presidential republic as a form of government in the Russian Federation. The provisions and conclusions set out in this work may represent a methodological basis for continuing the study of the constitutional and legal status of the President of the Russian Federation.
