Today we are watching the global changes in the production and distribution of audiovisual-content, expressed in the active development of online-video services, all around the world. Such changes in the industry have caused an immediate increase in demand for the production of specialized content that meets the format of distribution platforms: streaming services are in need of regular replenishment, and competitive race in the industry forces us to work on the production of a variety of video products, which are increasingly moving away from standard dramatic stories. This study is based on the hypothesis that, on the one hand, genre hybrids are beneficial as monoplatform format, since with the recognition of the genre formulas, new ways of entertainment are provided. On the other hand, hybrid forms are most suitable for the modern production strategy of promotion - a transmedia campaign, since it is the combination of genres that allows one to make original extensions of the narrative on other platforms. This paper explores three popular platform series presenting thriller-based hybrid genres. As a result of the narrative-genre analysis, the dramatic and production potential of the stories was revealed. Based on this were created their own versions of transmedia extensions for each series in order to expand the narrative and reach a larger audience
