Self-tracking is a new topical trend that has gained particular popularity due to the extensive digitalization of society. As part of this project we created a prototype of a mobile application for self-tracking. Based on the studied literature, as well as the studies we conducted, we were able to identify what problems with motivation arise among users of self-tracking. It was important to create an interactive and engaging app that would help the user and give them additional motivation to use self-tracking. This effect would be achieved by introducing gamification into the app. The team developed a new concept of a mobile self-tracking application, which combines classic trackers and the Tamagotchi game format. The project describes the main stages of concept creation: target audience research, competitor market analysis, building a business model, planning a promotion campaign, as well as creating an app prototype. This work focused on identifying and researching the target audience. Based on the results of 20 in-depth interviews the main segments of the media product audience were identified and the typical persons of these segments were described.
