Nowadays, design continues to play an essential role in the creation of any modern brand. The design of any brand is not devoid of identity, because it makes the brand recognizable and original. Graphical elements of a good style are visual communications to the brand’s audience. It shows the concept and aesthetics of the brand. Identity unites every graphic division in order to promote the ideas of the brand. This project proposal discusses the creation of the visual communications for the new modern school of astrology. The primary research method is the analysis of the identity of popular astrological schools. Some conclusions are also based on the analysis of the target audience and the benchmarking. The results show that the identity of the most astrological schools is old-fashioned. New design trends are not so much used in Russian schools. This happens because many people have outdated attitude towards astrology. Nowadays, astrology is an instrument for self-discovery without a mystical cult. Schools with old identities thus are less popular for a young audience. This project aimed to create a modern design for the new astrological school “White moon.” The diploma project consists of the complete visual communications for the new brand: logotype, identity, illustrations for promotion. Moreover, this project includes the analysis of the target audience and competitive astrological schools. All of the visual communications were created for the implementation start-up as a modern astrological school.
