Career Development in the Civil Service

This study relates to the field of career development in the civil service. The relevance of the study lies in the fact that not all public sector organizations have correctly thought out career development systems that allow civil servants to realize their career aspirations. In addition, some normative legal acts and other regulatory documents in the region are of a declarative nature, and are poorly adapted in practice. Therefore, taking into account the above, the purpose of this work is to make recommendations for improving the career development system of civil servants. To achieve this goal, tasks were set such as analyzing the conceptual-theoretical and regulatory framework in this area, identifying factors that influence the career development of civil servants, as well as problems in this area. With the help of the method of quantitative research, namely the questionnaire, the factors and problems were identified, with the help of such a method of qualitative research as an expert interview the problems were considered in more detail and recommendations for their solution were offered. The results of the work are useful for future researchers.
