What allows art to serve as a tool to criticize or propagandize the regime within which the artist is performing his work? The subject of the study is the phenomenon of Situationism and its impact on contemporary art and culture. The purpose of the current research is to create a clothing collection based on the formulated concept of the ideology of Situationism and cultural protest. The main research methods to be used will be a literature analysis to form a theoretical basis on the main concepts and practices of SI, and a visual study for Situationism as a phenomenon of visual culture. The research is expected to result in a debut clothing collection that reflects the key findings of theoretical and visual research on Situationism.
