Internship as a Tool for the Professionalization of the Public Administration Students

The problem of finding the effective methods of professionalization of students due to high dynamics of changes in the labor market. The demand from employers for qualified personnel capable of efficiently and systematically fulfilling their responsibilities is also growing. This trend also applies to the public sector which is interested in attracting graduates as attracted employees in order to improve the efficiency of its activities. One of the tools for the formation of the necessary knowledge, skills and competencies among students is an internship. Within the framework of this work, definitions of the concepts of internship and professionalization are given. Also, due to the peculiarities of the modern education system, the mechanisms of the competence-based approach and its impact on internship as a tool for professionalization have been studied.

Student Theses at HSE must be completed in accordance with the University Rules and regulations specified by each educational programme.
