Every culture is differentiated by its traditions, views, manners, and others – the uniqueness may be traced in different areas of our lives. Nevertheless, one of the most representative fields is journalism, where with the help of headlines it is possible to determine the cultural aspect. Even though many researchers have explored this field. However, they never investigated cultural dimensions of Spain and the USA individually or carried out a comparative analysis of their cultural peculiarities. This research aims to show cultural differences of the aforementioned two countries and analyse the reflection of cross-cultural dimensions in the headlines. The main domains applied to conduct the analysis will be headlines of different genres of Spanish and American Mass Media where cultural dimensions according to Hofstede’s division will be examined. The study of such dimensions as Power Distance, Individualistic VS Collectivistic, Uncertainty Avoidance could help to show the differentiation between cultures and investigate linguistic features that are represented through them. All these data may be used in the future in the scientific and real-life levels for the context analysis.
