Shaping Spectators Experience through Education Projects of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre

The research studies the theoretical and methodological aspects of the educational activities of the theater and the formation of spectator culture. The specificity and current state of the cultural and educational activities of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater have been investigated. Separately, the author considers the "Laboratory of the modern spectator" - an educational project, the format of which first time appeared in Russia at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater. The research also analyzes the transformation of the theater's cultural and educational activities during the coronavirus pandemic. It covers the problems of the formation of spectator culture from the point of view of the theater representatives and from the point of view of the most interested and prepared theatrical audience. As a result of the analysis, there were formulated proposals, that improve the methods of influencing the formation of spectator culture through educational projects of the theater.
