Results of Second International Academic Cooperation Competition Announced
The International Academic Cooperation (IAC) competition aims to promote international academic partnerships, broaden research agendas, and foster interdisciplinary approaches. It also encourages students, including doctoral students at HSE University, to participate in joint basic research projects.
Study of Creative Industries in Perm Krai Conducted by HSE University in Perm
The first large-scale creative industries forum ‘Spheres’ took place in Perm on December 6, 2024, bringing together federal and regional industry experts, as well as representatives of the authorities and the public. The forum included a joint meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group on the Development of Creative Industries in Perm Krai and the Regional Expert Group at the Centre for the Development of the Creative Economy at the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (CDCE ASI). Researchers from HSE University in Perm presented a study on the state of creative industries in Perm Krai and a comprehensive assessment of their development prospects.
International University District Will Unite HSE and Schools of Kyrgyzstan
The director of HSE Perm returned from a working trip to the Kyrgyz Republic. Galina Volodina met with representatives of ministries, educational organizations and presented a new project for schools.
‘The “Neighbours in Research” Conference Has Become a Special Hallmark of HSE University in Perm’
The 10th anniversary scientific conference ‘Neighbours in Research’ was held at HSE University in Perm. This year it received the status of an international event—research was presented by scientists not only from different regions of Russia, but also from Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. The conference's key concept is interdisciplinarity, and as a result, reports were presented from various branches of science, including economics, linguistics, sociology, law, digital technologies, and neuroscience.
'We Wanted to Create an Opportunity for Intercampus Teams to Engage in Promising Studies'
HSE University has announced the winners of the Project Competition in Basic Science Research for Intercampus Departments. The competition, which the university is organising for the first time, will provide funding to 10 research teams working on five topics. Four of the winning projects will be implemented by new research departments formed as a result of the competition.
HSE University in Perm: The Upcoming Anniversary
On September 12, 1997, HSE University in Perm was established by decree of the Government of the Russian Federation. A year later, the university enrolled its first students.
HSE University-Perm and the Training Centre of the Uzbek Ministry of Finance Sign Cooperation Agreement
HSE University in Perm has become the first academic partner of the Training Centre under the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The parties have signed a cooperation agreement in education and research.
Culture, Arts, Creative Industries, and Tourism Discussed at HSE University’s Conference in Perm
On October 20–22, the second International Conference on Experience Economy: Museum, Event, and Tourism Management was held at HSE University in Perm. Key talks were delivered by Andrea Rurale, the director of the Master’s in Arts Management and Administration at the Bocconi University School of Management, and Guillaume Tiberghien, University of Glasgow.
Exchange Students from Europe and Asia at HSE Perm: First Impressions
In 2019 HSE Perm launched two international mobility programmes for hosting students from foreign universities. Exchange students from Tajikistan and the UK will spend the spring semester in Perm.
HSE-Perm and University of Padova: Cooperation Continues
HSE-Perm and the University of Padova have been cooperating for the last five years. The cooperation started in the sphere of research within the HSE-Perm’s Centre for Private-Public Interactions.
Elena Shadrina Took Part in Paris Workshop on Sustainable Public Procurement
In the middle of October UN Environment held a workshop “Revision of the Sustainable Public Procurement Implementation Guidelines”. Elena Shadrina, Associate Professor of the HSE-Perm’s School of Management, took part in the workshop as an expert.
‘I Care’: Theory and Practice
HSE Perm has hosted the second International Conference on Applied Research. The conference drew Russian and international experts. Participants discussed theoretical models of economic processes, public-private partnership, intellectual capital, market development etc.
