The manifestation of congruence among students and practicing psychotherapists is associated with the emergence of a professional point of view on the process of acquiring counseling skills by psychologists. The study achieved the set tasks on the work done to develop a quasi-experimental study with quantitative processing of data on the scales of congruence and empathy, and the study was supplemented by conducting a semi-structured interview for a phenomenological description of the phenomenon of manifestation of congruence in psychologists. The sample of the study was represented by students of the Faculty of Psychology and practicing psychologists (N = 100, Mean = 41). The study carried out a statistical analysis using the methods of correlation analysis and condensation of meaning. The results of the study expanded the understanding of the phenomenon of congruence. Describes the phenomenological field of interaction between intrapersonal and interpersonal factors, which are included in the questionnaires of the “multivariate empathy questionnaire by M.
