Application of IT in modern industries is becoming more and more widespread. Therefore its importance increases every day. The purpose of our work is to analyze how analytical reports are compiled based on the relevant data warehouses. We approach this using specific data warehouse of an HR department as an example. In order to fully address the problem, we aim to solve the following tasks: - specify main HR metrics; - define distinctive features of tools used to build a data warehouse; - build a conceptual model of the HR metrics monitoring system; - design a data warehouse; - create a set of analytical dashboards. In terms of structure, our work consists of an introduction, the main part consisting of three chapters, a conclusion, a bibliography and an appendix. The first chapter sets out the basic theory concerning the methods and principles of design and construction of data warehouses, as well as the theory of personnel management; The second chapter includes analysis of different approaches to design and construction of data warehouses, as well as advantages and disadvantages of the approaches. Finally, the third chapter describes creation of a system of analytical reports based on the data warehouse.
