The main idea of gamification is to integrate the game method into the work of employees for more effective learning and memorization of information. The game elements are used to awaken their curiosity in employees and increase their engagement during work activities. Elements of the game include the leaderboard, leveling and scoring system, riddles, progress indicator and in-game currency. This concept is becoming more popular as it resonates with employees, as it helps to achieve results in a more pleasant way, while maintaining a healthy atmosphere within the team. This academic paper aims to disassemble the existing game mechanics and highlight the most effective ones for increasing employee engagement during training.
