A resident of a megalopolis is often faced with the stress that is provoked by the external urban environment. Meditation and mindfulness apps are versatile tools for self-management of the mental state. They provide anonymity, the ability to return to the practice at any convenient time and place, and save the user's transportation and financial resources. Nevertheless, users highlight loss of motivation as one of the features of using the app. There are studies that answer the question of what coaching methods can be brought in when creating a patient motivation strategy, as well as articles that explore universal tools for influencing a user's desire to log into the app more often. This study answers the question of how one can help a metropolitan resident visit the meditation app more often. To achieve the outlined result, there were used such methods as: respondent's auto-ethnography for 14 days and conducting an online group interview based on observations were used.
