There is no single systematic understanding of what labor behavior is and how it should be studied. There are many theories, approaches, and studies devoted to human behavior at work, but they are often only fragmentary, which makes it difficult to form a common vision of a holistic picture with all possible deep connections and contradictions. This master's thesis research is an attempt to answer the main research question about what types of real work behavior are and to reveal the true connections, factors of influence on the work activity of the individual. We ask an important question: why do people work differently? What influences the formation of different types of labor practices to a greater extent? Based on a systematic approach to the study of labor behavior, we were able to identify three types of real labor acts and find out what value-motivational bases each of them is associated with, as well as what external factors (family labor practices, organizational conditions, collective labor practices) have a decisive influence on the formation of a certain idea of work (values, motives, rules). We considered each received portrait of labor behavior in the context of various conditions and circumstances (socio-demographic characteristics, characteristics of real labor activity, the presence of large material obligations, material security, etc.). Based on a three-component analysis, we obtained three mass portraits of labor behavior.
